Hoping someone can give me some good pushchair advice. My twins (boy/girl) have just turned one and I am now on my third pushchair! I started with the Out n About Nipper which was great for being easy to push and lightweight but it really bothered me that the seats were permanently a bit reclined. I found my daughter especially was alway craning her neck to see out properly. My Mum-in-law then bought us a Maclaren Twin Techno which has great seat position but I find it uncomfortable to push and I am always kicking the middle rear wheel and stubbing my toes! We also like to go for semi-rural walks and it's no good for rougher terrain. Then last month I bought an Emmaljunga Twin Cerox 360 which I thought looked like it had it all, however the seats have nothing to separate the twins and my two aren't exactly the best of friends at the moment! They constantly lash out at each other (perhaps another discussion point!!!) which makes every outing a nightmare. Yesterday was the last straw when I realised my son had blood streaming from a gash in his face (actually only a surface scratch courtesy of his sister - but it looked bad!!!).
I have only had the Emmaljunga about a month and it was really expensive. I don't want to risk another costly mistake so any advice would be very much appreciated.
Hi ,I dont think it matters what you get.I dont think theres a pushchair out there that has it all.Im a walkn hazerd where ever I go.
IONA HAS STARTED TO PULL GEORGIAS HAIR AND BASH HER QUITE ALOT .WELL THEY DONT HAVE TO GET ON I SURPOSE ,THEY DIDNT CHOOSE TO BE TOGETHER ALL THE TIME BUT IT WOULD BE NICE IF THEY COULD.
Oh this did make me laugh!!! I have boy/girl twins also and went thru 4 pushchairs in 1st year what a nightmare, we have ended up with a phil and ted and most of the time its great. The only downside is theres no room for shopping so you have to buy the panier bags that go on the side, or rucksack which fits on the handle, its quite small so fits thru every door way but again once you got two, 2 stoner's in it, its quite heavy!! and because they are seperate it feels like they almost lose there identity of twins, so you dont get everyone stopping you whilst your shopping. butnow mine are 2 1/2 walking is a novelty and can always get one to walk for a period of time, so the pushchair doesnt get used no where near as much! I do hope you find ther perfect one!!!
